The GCC Jaguar IV and Puma III are cut only devices, and are only available if the special registration code, "CUTTING", is enabled.
The GCC Jaguar IV and Puma III are supported through the USB interface only.

Initial Software and Cutter Setup

- Select the 'Generic' manufacturer and choose 'Generic/Text Only' for the printer model.
- Click 'Next' until finished.
In Wasatch SoftRIP, choose the new Generic/Text Only physical connection from the 'Print->Setup' window.
SoftRIP Cutting Registration Mark Setup

GCC Cutter Properties
If you go to 'Print', 'Setup', 'Edit' and click the 'Properties' button, the window shown below will be displayed.
- Enable Registration Mark Detection: Selects whether Wasatch SoftRIP will detect the GCC AASII/GCC AASII Interval marks.
- Force: Set the amount of force the cutter will use.
- Offset: Select the amount of offset needed.
- Velocity: Set the amount of velocity the cutter will use while cutting.
Loading the media:
- As the print comes off the printer, note the edge that is to the lower right corner. This corner will be referred to hereafter as the origin (TP1) of the print.
- Insert the media in the same direction as the media originally came out of the printer. Since the cutter cannot cut any media beyond the pinch roller nearest the control panel or the pinch roller furthest from the control panel, align the media so that the pinch rollers are outside of the cutting area.
- The cutter is now ready for the cut path to be sent from the Cutting Unit Queue.
